Bengt has studied at ABF’s School of Art, Munka Ljungby Konstlinje as well as courses in graphics, photography, painting and sculpture. Debuted at Galleri Ekberg in Klippan in 1978 and has since had many separate exhibitions and as part of collective exhibitions in both Sweden and Denmark.
Represented in Helsingborg Stad, Copenhagen University Library, and in several art societies in both Sweden and Denmark.
The paintings are abstract and usually made of acrylic. The colours are muted but usually with some element of red, yellow or blue. It is layer upon layer, carved and scraped.
The sculptures are made of stoneware which are then glazed or patinated. Form is most important, and it is mostly non-figurative.
